What we use cookies for
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them only to remember your language, keep anonymous tool usage scoped to your browser, and keep a signed-in session. There is no cookie banner because we do not run optional tracking cookies.
Language
Choosing English or Turkish sets an httpOnly cookie named NEXT_LOCALE for up to one year so the site stays in that language. You can change it any time from the language control in the footer.
Sessions
Anonymous tool use may set a first-party cookie named spdf_anon so files stay attached to your browser instead of a shared pool. Signing in sets account session cookies so the account area can load. These cookies are httpOnly. Signing out clears the account session.
Payments
Checkout happens on Polar. Polar may set its own cookies on its domain while you pay or manage a subscription. Those cookies are Polar’s, not SoHappyPDF marketing or analytics cookies.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies in your browser. If you block all cookies, language preference and sign-in will not persist. Necessary cookies above are required for those features to work.
